Yemen’s Deputy Prime Minister for Defence and Security, General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, affirmed that “the countries of the Resistance Axis will put an end to the Zionist project that poses a threat to the region.”
In a press statement during the million-man march in Sana’a in support of Gaza and Lebanon, General Al-Ruwaishan said, “Our consolation in the martyrdom of Sayyid Nasrallah is that the school he established will remain and continue.”
Jalal Al-Ruwaishan emphasised that “the Lebanese people must unite and stand firm to protect their national security, which is threatened by the Zionist enemy,” noting that Hezbollah’s resistance has been more effective in direct confrontation even after the martyrdom of its Secretary-General.
He added, “Those who hide behind hundreds of tanks are the ones who fear and who shy away from direct confrontation.”
General Al-Ruwaishan pointed out that what Lebanon is currently facing is “an extension of the Zionist aggression against Gaza, and the only forces that have stood against the Zionist enemy are the forces of the Jihad and Resistance Axis.”
He concluded his statement by saying, “If Egypt, Jordan, and the Gulf states believe that the Zionist enemy does not threaten their national security, they are mistaken; the enemy is talking about [creating] a new Middle East.”
