The Government of Change and Construction organized on Monday an event to celebrate the 61st anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution, in the presence of members of the Supreme Political Council Mohammed Ali al-Houthi and Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, and the heads of the parliament Yahya Ali al-Ra’i, ministers Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahawi, and Shura Mohammed Hussein al-Aydarous.

At the event, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi stressed that the October 14 Revolution is an immortal and glorious revolution that is steeped in history with its values , principles and its confrontation with tyranny and British colonialism. “In the past, we faced the occupier with the rifle, and we will face him today with hypersonic missiles and others,” he said.

“We say to our brothers in Aden and the rest of the occupied provinces who have not been able to raise the national flag that the sun of freedom and independence will soon be seen on the mountains of Shamsan and other areas,” he added.

The member of the Supreme Political Council pointed to the great suffering of the people of the occupied provinces, including starvation, security instability, arrests, torture in prisons, disappearances and other sufferings practiced by the occupation and mercenaries.

He explained that the Yemenis have faced the Americans, British and Israelis for ten years and are currently facing them directly.

al-Houthi pointed out that the British colonialist left and the Yemenis have the gun, and this is the fate of the occupation, whether in southern Lebanon or in Palestine, and we have a living witness in America when it was expelled from Vietnam in the past and from Afghanistan recently.

He pointed out that America spent 12 trillion dollars in Afghanistan and then came out with that humiliating scene and its mercenaries falling from the wheels of airplanes, this is the state of the occupation and the scene of the end of mercenarism.

“If America could not save its mercenaries in Afghanistan and spent such a huge amount of money, it will not protect its mercenaries here who live on the Saudi riyal,” he said.

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi praised the qualitative operation carried out by Hezbollah yesterday against the Zionist enemy. He praised the operations carried out by Hezbollah mujahideen in Lebanon, as well as the operations carried out by the heroes of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, despite the difficult situation they live in.

He stressed that the Yemenis are capable of creating miracles and were tried by the British colonialism, which we celebrate today the anniversary of its defeat in the October 14th Revolution.

The member of the Supreme Political Council pointed out that the British and Americans know what the Yemeni Republic means, and what the Yemeni people mean, and they also know who the mujahideen are on all fronts, who were confronted by the aggression with airplane missiles.

The Prime Minister reviewed the revolutionary process of the glorious October 14 Revolution, whose first spark was launched from the highest peaks of Radfan, led by the martyred militant Rajeh Ghalib Labouza and revolutionary figures such as Sheikh al-Hoshabi, al-Qaqtabi, Sheikh Alawi al-Saqaf and many others.

He pointed to the moment when popular liberation forces flocked from all regions of Yemen to engage in guerrilla work and armed struggle against the British colonialist, starting from Sana’a, Taiz and Al-Bayda, before moving to the fronts of Al-Shaqab, Halmeen, Abyan, Shabwa and Al-Dhale’.

He noted the successive strikes of the revolutionaries against the colonialists, which played a role in the victory of the revolution and the rapid achievement of independence on November 30, 1967, touching on the cycles of conflicts that erupted in various periods after independence.

“Sana’a was a safe haven for the October 14 revolutionaries, and it is still today a haven for anyone who is subjected to harassment in the occupied southern provinces, just as Aden before the blessed unity was a haven for those who are subjected to harassment in Sana’a,” he said.

He stressed that the unity of the Yemeni people existed before May 22, 1990, and will continue to exist, God willing, no matter how much the enemies and new occupiers try to distort, abuse or undermine it.

Al-Rahwi pointed out that the October revolutions against the colonizer continue between Yemen’s revolution and the revolution of the Palestinians against the Zionist occupier, the spark of which was launched on October 7, 2023, whose first anniversary Yemen celebrated a few days ago.
