The Government of the Republic of Yemen in Sana’a expressed its sincere congratulations to the leadership and cadres of Hezbollah in Beirut on the election of Sheikh Naim Qassem as the Secretary-General of the esteemed party.
The Government of the Republic of Yemen in Sana’a stated in a statement, “We in the Yemeni government appreciate and value the pivotal role that Hezbollah plays in defending just Arab and Islamic causes, and in confronting the Israeli enemy that occupies parts of Arab land and perpetrates aggression and commits brutal massacres against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.”
The statement affirmed that this election strengthens the party’s journey and grants it new momentum to confront the challenges and dangers facing Lebanon, Palestine, and the peoples of the region.
The statement expressed full confidence that the new leadership of Hezbollah will continue the jihadist path of the martyr of Muslims and humanity, the great leader Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, with determination, patience, steadfastness, and reliance on God Almighty, and trust in Him, and to enhance Hezbollah’s role as an effective and leading force in confronting the Israeli enemy and in serving the causes of the Arab and Islamic nation.
The Government of the Republic of Yemen in Sana’a extended its sincere appreciation to the cadres and members of Hezbollah who have consistently demonstrated their courage, loyalty, and dedication to the noble principles of the party, affirming their steadfast commitment to the just Palestinian cause and to liberation, which has become a beacon of hope for the entire region.
It added, “We affirm that we stand firmly by their side in facing any challenge or ordeal,” asking that Lebanon and its people be blessed with security and stability, and that Hezbollah be successful in its noble mission of defending Lebanon and Palestine.
