The Israeli occupation army continued on Tuesday its bloody war on Lebanon for the 30th day in a row, with ongoing air and artillery shelling that targeted the capital Beirut, the eastern Bekaa, and various areas of the country, especially the south.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 13 people were killed and 57 were injured as a result of an Israeli airstrike that targeted the vicinity of the Rafik Hariri Hospital, bringing the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon to 2,487 martyrs and 11,628 wounded.

Rescue and ambulance crews were still working on removing the rubble in search for survivors, following the Israeli raid that targeted the area around Rafik Hariri University Hospital, the ministry added.

The occupation air force launched overnight more than 13 strikes targeting several towns and villages in the country, including central, eastern, and southern Lebanon.

The Director of the Sahel Hospital in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Fadi Alameh, said that the hospital evacuated the patient and medical staff, after the Israeli army claimed to have spotted a money cache underneath it.

Alameh refuted the Israeli allegations about Hezbollah storing money underneath the hospital, saying that they are unfounded lies. He expressed his concern over the Israeli intention to use these allegations as a prelude to directly target the health sector.

The Israeli army has been launching airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut and other areas on Sunday evening, claiming they were targeting the sites of Hezbollah’s financial wing in Lebanon.
