An official memorial event was held on Wednesday in the capital Sana’a for the martyr of the nation, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

During the event, Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, delivered remarks on behalf of Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, emphasizing the pain inflicted on the nation by the martyrdom of the mujahid leader, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who joined the ranks of his predecessors in martyrdom for the liberation of al-Aqsa, al-Quds, and all of Palestine.

President al-Mashat’s speech affirmed that the blood of these leaders would become a bright flame illuminating the path for the free revolutionaries walking on this great journey to achieve the goals set seven decades ago.

He pointed out that the axis of resistance has proven its cohesion and readiness to counter all conspiracies, dismissing speculations that suggested this axis had weakened with the martyrdom of a senior leader like Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

“The response to the skeptics came from Sana’a, Beirut, Damascus, Baghdad, and Tehran, which rained down a torrent of rockets on the Zionist enemy yesterday. This delighted our people in Gaza and the West Bank and caused panic in the capitals of countries that are loyal to the Zionist enemy,” he explained.

President al-Mashat confirmed the unity of the goal and project of the axis of resistance, which has risen to dismantle the Zionist project. He reiterated what the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, emphasized: that Yemen will continue to support and mobilize its resources for the project of resistance and liberation, undermining the Zionist project.

He also stressed that Yemenis, as part of the resistance axis, will continue to work toward this liberation project and provide whatever is possible for the liberation of Jerusalem and Palestine, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event possible.

For his part, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Political Council of the Supreme Committee, noted that the martyr of the nation, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, devoted his life to defending the sanctities of the nation against the occupying Zionist usurper.

He stressed that the Secretary-General of Hezbollah was a man who knew what he was doing and where he stood. He pointed out that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah stood in solidarity with the Republic of Yemen against the alliance of evil and the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression, and his position was clear, honorable, and great. This reflects the truth, as Ali bin al-Hussein said to his father, peace be upon them: “Are we not on the right?” He replied, “Yes.” Therefore, “we don’t care,” he said. “This is the slogan that should be carried by everyone who walks this path to seek the truth, as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and Imam Ali (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us, especially since the Messenger of Allah was the first to be harmed by the Jews,” he added.

Mohammed Al-Houthi stressed that the Zionists did not assassinate martyr Hassan Nasrallah for his persona but for his positions and strength in his jihad and movement. He recalled that Sayyed Nasrallah said during the memorial service for the martyr Fouad Shukr: “We do not say goodbye; we say farewell, and the blood will triumph over the sword. This is the position of the great and the position of the right.”

He also pointed out that the stance outlined by the Secretary-General of Hezbollah has eliminated the sectarian divisions and racism that the enemy sought to use to divide the people of the nation. “The leader Ismail Haniyeh was martyred in Iran, while Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was martyred in Lebanon, confirming that everyone in Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran is united in support of their brothers in Gaza,” he stated.

He emphasized that this battle was never paved with flowers, but with blood, which leads the believer to the eternal life that God has ordained for His mujahideen worshipers. “God willed for the martyr commander Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah to be alive to witness the victory and see the prayer at Al-Aqsa Sharif,” he added.

He reiterated that all mujahideen in the axis of resistance will stand in one trench to continue the holy jihad and cleanse all sacred places of Muslims and the Islamic nation from the desecration of invaders and occupiers.

For his part, Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi pointed out the importance of this memorial for the martyr of the Arab and Islamic nation, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (may Allah be pleased with him), who dedicated his life as a mujahid and an enemy of the Zionist enemy.

He praised Hezbollah’s jihadist record and the significant sacrifices it has made since its establishment, starting with the assassination of its former secretary Abbas Mousavi, then Imad Mughniyeh, and many others, culminating in the martyrdom of Mujahid Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, who sacrificed their pure souls and blood for the liberation of their nation and land from the Zionist enemy’s defilement.

He recalled the great victory achieved by Hezbollah under the leadership of martyr Nasrallah, who fought the battle to liberate the land against the Zionist enemy. He pointed to the tank massacre in Wadi Hajeer, which showcased the greatness, strength, and valor of the Islamic Resistance fighters in Lebanon.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the martyr of the nation gave his pure soul for the liberation of Palestine and the resistance against the Zionist enemy. He remarked that Yemenis will not forget the positions of martyr Mujahid Sayyed Nasrallah in support of the Yemeni people from the very first moments of the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression on Yemen, recalling his famous statement to the aggressors: “If Yemenis are not the origin of the Arabs, then they are the Arabs.”

He stressed that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s honest stance against the coalition of aggression was strong and destabilizing to the enemy. He explained that the Lebanese Islamic resistance continues its resistance approach after the martyrdom of its leader because it is built on solid organizational and institutional foundations.

In his speech, al-Rahawi congratulated the military operation carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran against the Zionist enemy, which instilled panic in the enemy ranks.

He emphasized the importance of continuing and escalating the operations of the axis of resistance against the Zionist enemy in support of the Palestinian people on the path to the liberation of Jerusalem and Palestine. May Allah grant mercy and forgiveness to the master of the martyrs, Hassan Nasrallah, and all the martyrs of the axis of resistance.

During the event, Islamic scholar Hamdi Ziad, a member of the Association of Scholars of Yemen, reviewed the jihadist positions of His Eminence Hassan Nasrallah and his courage in facing the forces of global arrogance represented by America and Israel. He highlighted the importance of strengthening the unity of the nation to confront Zionist and American arrogance and thwart their plans aimed at spreading division and discord among the nation.

He praised the operations carried out by the axis of resistance from Yemen, Lebanon, Iran, and Iraq, which have completely paralyzed the Zionist enemy in occupied Palestine.
