Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Rai, expressed his condolences for the martyrdom of the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” the mujahid leader Yahya Al-Sinwar.
During his visit today to the Hamas office in the capital, Sana’a, Al-Rai renewed his strong condemnation of the ongoing crimes of Zionist aggression and the genocidal war committed against the Palestinian people with U.S. and British support.
He affirmed the steadfast position of the Yemeni official and popular stance in support of the Palestinian people and their brave resistance until victory is achieved, the occupation ends, and the Palestinian state is restored with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
During his meeting with the representative of Hamas in Yemen, Moaz Abu Shamala, and representatives of the Palestinian resistance movements, Brother Yahya Ali Al-Rai expressed his sincere condolences and solidarity with the Palestinian people, the Hamas movement, the factions of the resistance, and the countries of the Axis for the martyrdom of the mujahid leader Sinwar and all the martyrs of the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance leaders.
He expressed his regret over the positions of the Arab and Islamic regimes that have not supported the Palestinian cause, noting the unlimited U.S. and European support for the enemy Zionist entity, providing it with the latest and deadliest types of weapons to kill the Palestinian people.
He emphasized that the current stage requires all Arab and Islamic nations and free peoples around the world to take urgent measures to support and aid the Palestinian people and their brave resistance by all means available.
Speaker of the Parliament praised the sacrifices of the heroic martyr Yahya Al-Sinwar, who dedicated his life to the victory of the Palestinian cause, highlighting the martyr’s role in planning and implementing the “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood,” which humiliated the Zionists.
Meanwhile, the representative of Hamas in Sana’a, Abu Shamala, expressed his gratitude to the President of the Parliament Council and his companions for the visit and offered condolences and solidarity for the martyrdom of the great leader Yahya Al-Sinwar, highlighting the sincere fraternal feelings embodied in this visit.
He appreciated the honorable positions of the Yemeni leaders and people in defending and supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause, emphasizing that Commander Sinwar was martyred in an unplanned attack, contrary to the accusations and lies promoted by the Israeli narrative that he was sheltering with prisoners.
He said: “God spoke the truth, therefore God believed him, and generations must learn from the school of the martyr leader Sinwar, his courage, will, and unwavering determination.”
He added: “Sinwar is the man in whose hands the tyranny of Israel was destroyed by the operation of October 7, 2023, as the occupied Palestinian territories were no longer a safe land for Zionist Jews as they claimed and promoted. Commander Sinwar destroyed the capabilities of Zionist and Western intelligence and revived hope in the nation with a spirit of resistance and valor.”
Abu Shamala emphasized that the continued steadfastness of the people of Gaza and the Palestinian people is an indicator of the forthcoming victory despite suffering, bombardments, destruction, killings, abuses, and siege, and despite the attempts of the Zionist war criminals to displace and evacuate them from the north of the Gaza Strip.
He highlighted the importance of national unity to accelerate the disappearance of the occupying and usurping entity, praising the heroic role of the resistance axis in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, and the expansion of operations targeting the enemy, the latest of which is the Jordanian operation to disrupt the enemy’s security.
The representative of Hamas continued: “We are steadfast in the jihadist principle because we have the right to liberate the land and establish a Palestinian state over the entire national territory, with Holy Jerusalem as its capital.”
