An American military expert confirmed the development of the torpedo revealed by Sana’a forces during the military maneuver on the West Coast.
The American military expert, Hay Sutton, said in an analysis on his website that the attack submarine called (Al-Qariah) that the Sana’a government displayed is not a reverse-engineered version of the American-made (Remus600) submarine that Sana’a seized in January 2018.
Adding that it is a case of intersection (mix) between the naval torpedo and submarine technology.
He stressed that the weapons of the Sana’a forces should be taken seriously, noting that they have inflicted severe damage on many commercial ships.
