A number of soldiers from the Southern Transitional Council forces were injured yesterday in a new attack targeting a patrol in Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen.
Local sources said that an explosion targeted a military vehicle belonging to the Transitional Forces with an explosive device in the Al-Baqira area, east of Mudiyah District, Abyan Governorate.
The sources added that the explosion caused injuries among the Transitional Forces, whose injuries were described as light and moderate.
Abyan Governorate witnesses attacks from time to time by the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda, which causes deaths and injuries among the Transitional Forces.
