The General Authority of Zakat office in Hajjah Governorate distributed cash assistance to fishermen affected by winds and storms in the Buhais area of Midi.
The distribution, which comes within the emergency response project, targeted 16 fishermen whose boats were damaged, with a total of 3 million and 513 thousand riyals.
In the distribution, the director of the directorate, Muhammad Al-Ati, praised the General Authority of Zakat’s interaction and response in providing aid to fishermen affected by the winds, and contributing effectively to alleviating their suffering.
Zakat branch in the directorate, Zila’i Al-Zila’i indicated the keenness of the Zakat Authority’s office to alleviate the suffering of affected fishermen.
The distribution was attended by the head of banks in the Zakat branch in the directorate, and a number of directors of the branches of the executive offices.
