Al-Resheq: Proposals for temporary truce are just attempts to pull the wool over the eyes

Member of Hamas’s political bureau Ezzat al-Resheq has said that the last proposals for a temporary truce are just attempts to pull the wool over the eyes as they will not lead the Israeli occupation army to end its war and withdraw its forces from the Gaza Strip.

However, Resheq said in a statement on Saturday that his Movement deals positively with any proposals and ideas that guarantee an end to the aggression and the withdrawal of the Israeli forces from Gaza.

Resheq accused Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu of “stalling to gain time and using the ceasefire negotiations as a cover to persist in his aggression.”

“The game of exchanging roles between the occupation and the US administration is ongoing in Lebanon, as is the case with Gaza,” the Hamas official pointed out.
