Clashes broke out between resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces, on Tuesday, in the Balata camp east of Nablus, while the occupation forces raided various areas in the West Bank.
Palestinian sources confirmed that the clashes took place on Al-Souq Street and the neighborhoods of Al-Madrasa and Jamma’in, where military vehicles were targeted with a hail of bullets.
The occupation forces arrested a young man and an elderly person before withdrawing towards military checkpoints on the eastern outskirts of Nablus.
In Ramallah, media sources reported that the occupation forces raided Birzeit University in the north of Ramallah, arresting students who were holding a sit-in inside the campus.
The occupation forces carried out widespread damage at the student council and university facilities, in addition to arresting three students involved in the sit-in.
They also removed the university gate at the western entrance during the raid.
The occupation forces also raided the town of Al-Dhahiriya south of Hebron and fired live bullets at Palestinian youths during a raid in Qalqilya.
