Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi, confirmed the readiness of the Yemeni Armed Forces to confront any aggressive attack with advanced tactics, weapons and expertise.
Minister Al-Atifi said: “External threats and pressures will not deter the Republic of Yemen and its people from their firm position in providing military support and backing Palestine and Lebanon.”
He added in a statement to “Al-Masirah Channel” today, Wednesday, November 13, 2024: “The carriers, aircraft, battleships and frigates of the aggression countries, the “evil trio” America, Britain and the “Israeli” entity, will remain under the strikes of ballistic and and winged missiles and drones, and the Americans and the British are not able to influence our military operations.”
Yesterday, Tuesday, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out two qualitative military operations targeting the American aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln” in the Arabian Sea and two American destroyers in the Red Sea, with a number of ballistic and winged missiles and drones, thwarting their air operations that they were preparing to target Yemen.
The Yemeni Armed Forces targeted more than 208 Israeli, American and British commercial and military ships in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean during the year as part of the “Promised Victory and Holy Jihad” battle in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance and in support of Gaza against the Zionist and American-British aggression against Yemen.
