Loud explosions were heard on Wednesday afternoon in central occupied Palestine, after a qualitative missile barrage was launched from Lebanon, coinciding with the widespread sounding of air raid sirens and the activation of air defense systems in the Greater Tel Aviv area and its surroundings.
Hebrew media reported that at least 11 missiles were fired from Lebanon towards central occupied Palestine.
A missile fell directly on Ben Gurion Airport in Lod, while ambulances rushed to the scene immediately, while another missile fell on a car in Raanana, north of Tel Aviv.
Hebrew Channel 12 reported that air traffic had completely stopped at Ben Gurion Airport after a missile fell on the airport.
At the same time, other explosions were heard in the Maalot-Tarshiha settlement in the occupied Galilee, while Hezbollah claimed responsibility for its bombing of a number of settlements in northern occupied Palestine, as part of the warning it had issued to them weeks ago.
