The General Authority of Antiquities and Museums in Sana’a condemned the deliberate neglect of Yemeni antiquities in the southern and eastern regions of Yemen on Sunday.

The Authority reported in a statement the neglect of numerous archaeological sites in Marib province, eastern Yemeni capital Sana’a, in the areas controlled by the Saudi-led aggression tools.

The statement viewed this neglect as a waste of a significant piece of Yemeni civilization that is on the World Heritage List.

The Authority urged citizens to work to stop “this crime against Yemen and its generations,” highlighting the importance of preserving the cultural capabilities of the homeland.
