The President of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, Mahdi Al-Mashat, chaired on Thursday a meeting with several government officials to discuss the level of government performance and efforts made to serve the people.
The meeting included the Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Construction, Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi; First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah; Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan; and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development, Mohammed Al-Madani.
The meeting touched on the procedures for merging ministries and institutions, issuing laws, regulations, and organizational structures related to them.
At the meeting, President Al-Mashat congratulated the Lebanese people and Hezbollah fighters on their victory in thwarting the Israeli enemy’s plans and the return of thousands of displaced people to their homes.
He emphasized the importance of the unity of the internal front and the integration of governmental and military performance within the framework of the holy battle that the Yemeni people are waging against the American, British, and Zionist enemy and its local and regional tools.
President Al-Mashat urged the need to double efforts to enhance the performance level of the government, institutions, and official agencies; work according to priorities; provide services to citizens; and implement projects that contribute to improving economic and living conditions.
He also stressed the role of community initiatives in supporting government efforts aimed at implementing service and development projects that alleviate the suffering of citizens.
In the meeting, the Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi, confirmed the high capabilities and potentials of the armed forces to defend Yemen, its sovereignty, and independence and support the brothers in Gaza and Palestine and the mujahideen in Lebanon.
He stressed that the position of Yemen, its leadership, government, people, and armed forces is linked to stopping the Zionist-American aggression on Gaza.
