A meeting held in Sa’ada province on Thursday, chaired by Governor Mohammad Awad, focused on the role of community reconciliation committees and scholars, as well as the coordination with the judiciary to address ongoing community challenges.
The meeting, attended by Sa’ada Court of Appeal Chairman Judge Suleiman al-Shamiri and Appeal Prosecution Chairman Judge Ibrahim Jahez, explored arbitration methods to ensure the validity of rulings and minimize the risk of appeals. Participants also discussed the preparation of a guide to streamline these processes.
Governor Awad emphasized the significance of the meeting in resolving community issues, praising the efforts of judges, scholars, and reconciliation committees. He reiterated the local authority’s commitment to supporting the judiciary and providing the necessary resources.
Both Judges al-Shamiri and Jahez reaffirmed the judiciary’s dedication to resolving all pending cases and disputes. They also commended the collaboration with scholars, highlighting their vital role in societal dispute resolution and their ongoing partnership with the judiciary.
