United States resumed its attacks on Syria on Wednesday.
This comes after a shuttle tour by the commander of its Central Forces in the Gulf.
The US Central Command claimed in a tweet on its official social media page that the new aggression targeted a weapons storage facility belonging to factions affiliated with Iran.
It also considered the attack a response to targeting US forces in Syria.
The US command concluded its statement with excerpts from its commander, Michael Kurilla, in which he spoke about not being lenient with anyone who tries to target US interests.
During the past few days, Kurilla carried out a shuttle tour that included Saudi Arabia, where he met with officials, in addition to the Chief of Staff of the Yemeni factions loyal to the coalition, who was recalled from Marib. The visit also included Bahrain, Qatar, the Emirates, and Jordan.
The Central Command reported that the meetings focused on ways to confront attacks on the Israeli occupation and defensive cooperation.
