Yemen Scholars Association strongly condemned the Saudi regime’s actions under the guise of “entertainment,” accusing it of mocking the Muslim Qibla, which it claims to protect.
In a statement, the association denounced the Saudi crimes against Islamic sanctities and the desecration of the holy lands with immorality and debauchery.
It urged all members of the Muslim community, especially scholars, to condemn these acts. The statement also criticized Saudi discussions of possible normalization with Israel as a betrayal of the Muslim nation and its sacred values.
The association expressed solidarity with Saudi scholars who have spoken out against these injustices and have been imprisoned by the regime. It called on the Arab and Islamic nations to raise their voices against the Saudi ruling family, emphasizing that they are unfit to manage the Two Holy Mosques.
Furthermore, it urged support for the oppressed in Gaza and Lebanon through all legitimate means and called for breaking the oppressive grip of client regimes in the region.
Recently, Saudi Arabia brought several performers to Jeddah to participate in “Riyadh Season” events, hosting indecent shows that reportedly disrespected the sanctity of the Kaaba. These actions have sparked widespread outrage among Muslims, with social media platforms flooded with criticism of the Saudi regime and demands to protect Islamic sanctities in the holy land.
