The Yemeni Media Union (YMU)condemned the assassination of Hezbollah’s Media Relations Officer, Haj Mohammad Afif, in a treacherous airstrike carried out by Israeli enemy aircraft on the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
In a statement obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the YMU considered the targeting and assassination of a political media figure as evidence of the Israeli enemy’s weakness, aiming to silence the voice of the resistance.
The statement emphasized that the criminal policies pursued by the Israeli occupation will not stop the free resistance voice from continuing its religious and moral duty to break the will of the occupier and drive it away from the land and sacred sites.
It pointed out that the martyr Haj Mohammad Afif was a true and strong example of the free resistance voice from the heart of the southern suburbs of Beirut, since the beginning of the brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza and Lebanon.
The Yemeni Media Union also reaffirmed its full solidarity with all journalists in Gaza and Lebanon, calling on all regional and international bodies to stand united in confronting the arrogance and occupation of the Israeli entity, until it is expelled and defeated from all Palestinian territories
