Araqchi Condemns Aggression On Yemen, Stresses Need To Preserve Unity Of Yemen

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi condemned the tripartite aggression (American-British-Zionist) on Yemen, stressing the need to preserve the unity and integrity of Yemeni territories.

During a joint press conference with his Omani counterpart Badr Al-Busaidi on Monday, Araqchi expressed his “hope that peace talks in Yemen will resume to prevent conspiracies that may lead to another war.”

Regarding the situation in Syria, the Iranian Foreign Minister called for respecting the sovereignty and unity of Syrian territories, non-interference in Syrian affairs, and respecting all parties and sects.

Araqchi stressed the importance of forming an agreed-upon government “that includes all Syrian parties.”

He stressed the need to preserve security and stability in Syria, and the importance of the Zionist enemy leaving the territories it occupied.

In turn, the Omani Foreign Minister said: The meeting with Araqchi touched on several issues on the political level, including developments on the Syrian and Lebanese arenas, what is related to the central Palestinian issue, and supporting the aspirations of the Palestinian people.
