Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, member of the Political Council, participated in the event to commemorate the anniversary of the death of the Sheikh of the Mujahideen and founder of the Al-Wahbi Brigades, Major General Saleh bin Saleh Al-Wahbi, which was held on Sunday by Al-Wahbi Brigades.
The member of the Political Council praised this important and exceptional figure at the national level who decided early on to choose the right path by standing by the Qur’anic march.
He stated that General Al-Wahbi decided to choose this path because of his religious and tribal convictions because he belongs to one of Yemen’s oldest tribes, Murad, which has a great importance in the past and present, not only at the level of Yemen, but at the level of the region.
Dr. Bin Habtoor pointed out that the reality today has proven that the Qur’anic march was followed only by free people, heroes and mujahideen, including General Saleh Al-Wahbi, who was one of those who stood by this march.
He pointed out that Yemen’s honorable stance in “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle proved the correctness of the revolutionary leader’s approach and decisions when he announced from day one that he would stand by the mujahideen in Gaza Strip and Palestine in general until the aggression is stopped and the siege is lifted.
“Today, the enemies are discussing how Yemen was able to take a courageous and great stand alongside the Palestinian cause at a time when more than 22 Arab countries, 22 armies, security services and billions of dollars in budgets are standing idly by as their brothers are being annihilated in full view of them, and the number of their martyrs today has reached 45,000, most of whom are women and children,” he said.
“Standing with Palestine is a moral, humanitarian and religious obligation, not a momentary emotional act or to gain sympathy, as it is a fateful issue for the nation, not only Arab but also Islamic and all free people of the world,” he added.
The Supreme Political Member pointed out that “the Yemenis share what little they have with their brothers in Palestine, this is the greatest and most honorable value of any gift, while the dirty and profane money has turned into a curse on the yuppies with their lascivious celebrations with dancing and all the corruptions.” He emphasized that the Yemenis are poor in money, but rich in dignity, magnanimity and pride, which is why they continue today to generously support their people in Palestine willingly and with all their strength.
At the event, which was attended by Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dhaifallah Ressam and Al-Wahbi battalions commander Major General Bakil Saleh Al-Wahbi, Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Ayyash Qahim explained that Major General Saleh Al-Wahbi is a leading national figure in the struggle and community work, and one of those who were devoted to the country and set out on the path of the Qur’anic march, offering many sacrifices and giving for the sake of victory for the country.
Sheikh Hussein Hazib pointed to the deceased’s prominent roles in confronting terrorist elements in Al-Bayda province and thwarting the plans of the US-Saudi Emirati aggression. He pointed out that General Al-Wahbi will remain immortalized in the hearts of all the free people of the country.
“Today, all honorable sons of the nation stand behind the revolution leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in order to raise the flag of the homeland , religion, and defend the causes of the nation,” Qahim said.
Hazib also pointed out that the wise revolutionary leadership put Yemen at the forefront of the ranks defending Al-Aqsa and holy sites, a great position that received widespread popular support.
“The militant General Saleh al-Wahbi was one of Yemen’s sheikhs , dignitaries, and an active community leader, as well as an experienced and courageous military commander who proved his presence in the field,” he said.
Lieutenant Colonel Al-Faieq pointed out that the deceased chose the path of resistance and jihad despite the threats and targeting of his house by the aggression aircraft, which only made him more determined to continue his struggle.
