Yemen’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jamal Amer, met today with the Country Director of CARE International, Abdullah Abdi Iman.
During the meeting, Minister Amer listened to a briefing from the Country Director on the organization’s projects implemented in 2024 across various sectors, as well as plans for the upcoming year and efforts to secure necessary funding.
Minister Amer emphasized the importance of humanitarian organizations to increase their efforts to support the Yemeni people, stressing that aid should not be tied to political agendas, but instead focused on priority humanitarian projects for the government.
In turn, the Country Director expressed his appreciation for the assistance and facilities provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and reiterated the organization’s commitment to offering comprehensive humanitarian support to the Yemeni people.
