Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer met today with Zena Ali Ahmad has UNDP Resident Representative for Yemen.
During the meeting, Minister Amer discussed a report on the level of achievement of projects implemented by the United Nations Development Program for the year 2024, the program’s work plan for the year 2025, and reviewed the project to support electronic payment through national electronic financial wallets.
The Minister stressed the importance of the UNDP the participation in mine clearance file, especially after the spread of mines has become a major burden on society and has worsened due to the flood disaster that hit Al-Hodeidah Governorate and a number of governorates and the movement of mines towards civilian gathering areas.
In her turn, UNDP Resident Representative indicated that the UNDP is keen to ensure that all projects implements are in accordance with the needs of the country and in coordination with the competent authorities.
