Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Zionist entity’s exploitation of the situation in Syria and its occupation of more lands in the Golan Heights in flagrant violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, in addition to its aggression against a number of Syrian sites.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered in a statement that this step confirms that the Zionist entity is the real enemy lurking in the region and the Arab and Islamic nations.
The statement stressed the need to respect Syria’s sovereignty and preserve its stability, unity and territorial integrity and not to interfere in its internal affairs.
The statement called on the international community, especially the Security Council, to play its role in condemning this blatant aggression on Syrian lands and curbing Zionist arrogance.
The statement stressed that the developments in Syria and the Zionist aggression against it should not distract attention from the crimes of genocide committed in Gaza on a daily basis by the usurping Zionist entity.
The Ministry affirmed the solidarity of the Republic of Yemen with the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, and its right to respond to the brutal Zionist aggression.
