The spokesman for the International Criminal Court, Fadi Al-Abdullah, announced that the court has issued arrest warrants against the Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his former Minister of Defense, Yoav Galant, due to reasonable grounds for committing war crimes against the Palestinians.
Al-Abdullah pointed out in an interview with the program “With the Editor-in-Chief” broadcast by Palestine TV, that the court is communicating with member states to arrest Netanyahu and Galant if they enter their territories, stressing that the court’s decision is a test for the states that signed the Rome Statute.
Al-Abdullah added in his interview that “the court issued its decision and the states that signed the Rome Statute must implement this decision and commit to cooperating with the court, including implementing arrest and detention orders, and if they have any objections or issues that they believe hinder the implementation of the orders issued by the court, they should communicate with the judges of the court.”
