Local sources in Shabwa governorate reported an unprecedented expansion of tribal confrontations in Usaylan district.
The sources said that the confrontations between the “Balharith” tribe on the one hand and the “Al-Tahif” tribe on the other hand, witnessed the use of drones yesterday, in addition to mortars and heavy machine guns.
The sources added that the tribal confrontations left a number of dead and wounded on both sides, in addition to a state of terror among the people of Usaylan district, which is under the control of the occupation forces.
The sources indicated that there is military support from the Islah militia authorities for the “Al-Tahif” tribe from Marib in exchange for support provided by the pro-Emirati Giants militias to the “Balharith” tribe from Shabwa.
The sources explained that the confrontations continued at their peak between the two sides, amid the mobilization of more fighters to the tribal confrontations arena on the outskirts of the northern Usaylan district, indicating that the confrontations between the two tribes erupted against the backdrop of old revenge issues.
