UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini confirmed that children in Gaza are freezing to death due to cold and lack of shelter.
Lazzarini explained in a press statement on Friday, saying, “We need a ceasefire and an immediate flow of essential supplies, including winter supplies.”
He pointed out that blankets and winter supplies have been stuck for months awaiting approval to enter Gaza.
