The Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development, Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, confirmed that the Government of Change and Construction has prioritized the issue of salaries from day one, and that the Ministry of Finance has been working towards this objective.

He pointed out that the discussions, preparations and arrangements are being made by the government to pay at least one full or half salary monthly to state employees under the government in Sanaa. And this no longer just leaks, and that the ministry has been involved in preparing this mechanism from the very beginning.

The Minister of Civil Service stated that the government will soon succeed in implementing this mechanism, which aims to ease the financial burdens and difficult circumstances faced by public sector employees due to the interruption of salaries caused by the ongoing Saudi-American aggression and blockade.

He confirmed that this is an exceptional and temporary measure until the salaries of the people are recovered from the aggression.

Dr. Al-Hawali anticipated that the salary distribution mechanism would be implemented at the beginning of next year.

He clarified that the government in Sana’a, including the Ministry of Civil Service, is ready to proceed once an agreement is reached through the negotiations being held by the national delegation in Oman regarding the peace plan, salary distribution, and the return of the Central Bank to Sana’a, as well as the resumption of oil exports and fair distribution of oil wealth among all Yemenis.

He assured that the government is prepared to handle any developments in this regard, whether related to salary payments or other matters.

This came during a special interview with Al-Thawra Newspaper, which will be published   tomorrow.

In the interview, Dr. Al-Hawali will address various issues related to the tasks and activities of the Ministry of Civil Service, including administrative development, institutional reforms in the public service, and all matters concerning the ministry’s responsibilities and public employment, as well as the projects that have been completed and those the ministry is currently working on.
