The number of Palestinian journalist martyrs, who were killed due to the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, has risen to 193, following the announcement of the martyrdom of journalist Iman Al-Shanti.

Palestinian sources reported that five civilians, including journalist Iman Al-Shanti and her son Bilal, were killed when the occupation bombed a residential building in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.

The journalist, who worked as a broadcaster for the local Al-Aqsa Radio, was killed along with her husband and three children, while several others were injured and transferred to the hospital.

The Zionist enemy forces deliberately target journalists and media institutions. During the aggression, nearly 400 journalists were injured, and 40 others were arrested.

The enemy forces also destroyed the majority of the local and international institutions operating in the Gaza Strip, forcing all local radio stations to close due to displacement, lack of resources for journalistic work, particularly electricity and internet access.
