Thousands of people in the British capital, London, placed toys and flowers at the entrance of Downing Street, where the UK Prime Minister’s residence is located, in memory of those who have been killed by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza.

This came during a rally for Palestine at Parliament Square in  central London to call on the British government to ban arms sales to the Israeli regime.

The demonstrators laid flowers and toys at the gates of the prime minister’s residence at 10 Downing Street, reminding the government of the toll of its military support for the regime’s genocidal war on Gaza on Palestinian children.

Protesters demand that the government backs calls to end the genocide in Gaza, stop arming Israel, stay out of Lebanon and not attack Iran.

The event is organised by groups such as the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Friends of Al-Aqsa, Stop the War Coalition and others.
