Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi discussed with the Governor of Hadhramaut, Luqman Baras, the latest developments in the governorate amidst the ongoing practices of the Saudi-Emirati occupation and escalating conflict between their mercenaries and agents in the region.
The meeting discussed the worsening public services and living conditions in the governorate, along with the hardships faced by the people of Hadhramaut due to policies of poverty, starvation, and the plundering and exploitation of the region’s capabilities by the occupation forces and their local allies, especially Saudi Arabia’s efforts to implement its old and new plans in the region to serve its ambitions and interests.
The Prime Minister condemned the criminal actions of the Saudi-Emirati occupation and their mercenaries, who have violated the governorate and its capabilities at the expense of its people, who are enduring severe hardships.
He emphasized the national responsibility of the people of Hadhramaut to oppose the blatant occupation and its grave violations, and to confront the actions of its mercenaries and collaborators.
He called on the free people of the governorate to mobilize their energies and unite the ranks of the popular forces to resist the occupation, by all means, and work to expel it from the region.
The occupation will eventually end, driven by the people’s will for freedom and independence. Yemen’s active forces will lead the charge to liberate the country from the occupation and its mercenaries, ultimately defeating all of their plans and projects, the prime minster stressed.
The Prime Minister instructed Governor Baras to communicate with the people of the governorate and its active forces, to assess their situation and needs, based on the responsibility of the government for change and reconstruction towards all citizens in the various provinces.
