Sana’a University witnessed on Wednesday public parade of graduates of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” courses, with the participation of 2,500 students from all faculties of the university.
During the parade, which started from the Education College square, passed through the Languages College, and reached the main square of the university, Graduates chanted slogans condemning the Israeli-American aggression, which has been committing heinous massacres and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The participants declared their readiness and mobilization to support the Palestinian resistance.
They praised the heroic battles being fought by the resistance against the Israeli-American war machine and expressed their determination to engage in “the Battle of the Promised Conquest & Sacred Jihad promised” to confront global tyranny and arrogance.
In the parade, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council, praised the public parade of graduates at Sana’a University in support of Palestine, emphasizing the importance of standing against the enemies of the Ummah on behalf of the oppressed people of the Arab world.
He highlighted that throughout the past period, the aggression has targeted universities in Sana’a, Hodeidah, Dhamar, and other governorates. However, he praised the students’ active role in this field, reflecting their commitment to the issues of the nation, rooted in their faith, proper education, and rightful responsibility.
Al-Houthi stressed that the responsibility for defending the faith, the country, and the oppressed people worldwide should not rest solely on the military, but on every individual, according to Islamic principles.
He called for everyone to take action, asserting that those who do not act are the real losers.
He added, “Today, we are facing an enemy of the nation, represented by the temporary entity (Israel) and the American regime, which is opposing the entire nation. This enemy is known to all, and everyone must act; those who do not act are the losers.”
He pointed out that the university students carry the names of great martyrs who have proven that their active efforts, in which they gave their lives, are a fruit of jihad in the path of God and a demonstration of the responsibility carried in the hearts of the Arab nation.
Al-Houthi, questioned, saying, “What have the submissive leaders of the Arab regimes offered, other than humiliation and disgrace, being looked down upon with contempt, even by the regimes they stand with? Meanwhile, we remain in the well-known situation of injustice towards the people of Gaza and Lebanon. We must never stop active movement and awareness in this battle—the battle of awareness, and you are its men, and the battle of jihad in the path of God.”
He continued, “We are not like the armies that march in military steps and maintain discipline in military movements, yet we do not see this discipline in their positions or in their respect for responsibility, especially when we watch the sons of Muslims being killed without those armies moving a muscle.”
He asked, “Where are the Arab armies, and what about the discipline and the budgets spent on these armies, which have become useless in our eyes and in the eyes of Arab societies? What have these armies done for Palestine, while it is bombarded and besieged? What have they done for Gaza as it is being massacred in broad daylight? What can these armies do in this battle? Nothing. Aren’t they a burden on the budgets of the Arab nations and a burden on our societies?”
Mohammad Ali al-Houthi pointed out that when the people of the nation turn toward their own populations, they growl and carry strong words against their own people, but when it comes to facing aggression, they say nothing. He explained that the movement is against society, but when it comes to the enemy, they have not moved at all during this entire period.
He highlighted that today, Sana’a University students are in the battlefield facing the enemy that is moving against the children of Islam, seeking to occupy sacred sites and implement American agendas, stressing that Trump’s threats of quickly releasing prisoners will have no effect on the resistance in Palestine or the axis of resistance.
Al-Houthi affirmed that the force, fire belts, tanks, and soldiers sent to Gaza have not been able to intimidate the resistance fighters in Palestine, nor have they been able to reach the prisoners captured in the “Flood of Al-Aqsa.” How can words scare the people of Palestine?
He said, “The fighters and heroes do not pay attention to you or care about any of your threats. They did not care about the American missiles and bombs that burn them, so how could they care about your words?”
He emphasized that everyone must understand that these heroes, who are displaying themselves before you today, will have various roles, whether in media, on the battlefield, or through focusing on their education, so that they will become multiple armies dedicated to building the nation and confronting its enemies.
