Public Prosecution destroys more than six thousand blocks of hashish in Sa’ada

Public Prosecution in Sa’ada Governorate destroyed 6,937 blocks of hashish resin, a narcotic substance, seized in 149 seizure operations, including a number of defendants who are being tried and investigated.

The head of the Appeal Prosecution in Sa’ada Governorate, Judge Ibrahim Abdullah Jahez, explained that the destroyed quantity was seized by the security services in the governorate during the period June-November of this year, while it was on its way to Saudi Arabia, coming from the occupied governorates.

Judge Jahez confirmed that the Public Prosecution will spare no effort in completing the investigations and referring the remaining drug cases to trial so that the perpetrators receive their just punishment, praising the efforts of the security services in the governorate in controlling these crimes and protecting society from their dangers.

The destruction process was attended by a number of members of the judiciary, the prosecution, the security services, and the antanti-narcotics agency.
