The Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria announced that in a single day, up to 200 terrorists were eliminated, along with 15 armored vehicles, two “Mil Mi-24” helicopters, 15 drones, two control centers, and seven warehouses.
“Over the past 24 hours, Russian and Syrian Air Force aircraft carried out missile and bomb attacks on militant gatherings and ammunition warehouses in the governorates of Idlib, Hama, and Aleppo. This led to the elimination of up to 200 terrorists, the destruction of 15 armored combat vehicles, two Mi-24 helicopters, a mortar, 43 vehicle units, nine motorcycles, 15 drones, two observation posts, and seven ammunition depots,” Sputnik reported, citing deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Sides in Syria Oleg Ignasyuk.
Meanwhile, the Syrian ministry of defense confirmed that the news circulated by the terrorists’ pages on social media about the army’s withdrawal from Homs is not true.
“We confirm that the Syrian Arab Army is present in Homs and its countryside and is deployed on fixed and solid defensive lines,” The Syrian Ministry of Defense said in a statement on Friday.
“The army has been reinforced with additional large forces equipped with various types of equipment and weapons. Our forces are ready to repel any terrorist attack,” according to the statement.
