The Shura Council emphasized that the Zionist entity’s terrorist attacks on civilian objects, service facilities, and ports in the capital Sana’a and Hodeidah Governorate are clear violations of international law and Yemeni sovereignty. These attacks confirm the entity’s criminal tendencies and its indifference to civilian lives.
In a statement issued today, the Council noted that the Zionist aggression, which resulted in the disruption of two power plants in Sana’a and the martyrdom and injury of civilians at the ports of Hodeidah, Salif, and the Ras Isa oil facility, is part of an ongoing effort to tighten the noose on Yemenis. This is due to their humanitarian and religious stance against the genocidal war being committed by the occupying entity in Gaza.
The statement warned the Zionist entity of the consequences of further escalation and continued violations of Yemeni sovereignty, stressing that Yemenis will not be deterred by Zionist terrorism from supporting Gaza, advocating for the Palestinian cause, and defending their sovereignty and independence.
The Shura Council condemned the international, Arab, and Islamic silence regarding the ongoing Nazi-like massacres committed by the Israeli occupation army, the horrors of which are revealed in scenes of stray dogs devouring the bodies of civilians in Gaza.
It also praised the qualitative missile operation carried out by the Yemeni armed forces as part of the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad, which targeted two sensitive Israeli military sites in occupied Jaffa with two hypersonic ballistic missiles (Palestine 2).
The operation, which followed the Zionist attacks, confirms that the Yemeni armed forces possess the determination and capability to exercise their right to self-defense against any violation of Yemeni sovereignty or harm to the lives and interests of Yemenis.
The statement called on all Yemenis to unite their ranks and mobilize efforts to confront the Zionist-American aggression, support the armed and security forces, and defend the homeland and its resources.
The Shura Council urged the Senate and Shura Councils of Africa and the Arab world to take a stand against the Zionist entity’s terrorist attacks on Yemen, condemn them, and call on international institutions to halt Israel’s continuous brutality and war crimes in Gaza, as well as its ongoing violations against the peoples of the region.
