The Presidency of the Shura Council condemned and strongly denounced the Israeli occupation’s raid and burning of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, forcibly evacuating patients, displaced people and kidnapping medical staff at gunpoint.
In its meeting, the council considered this act a complete war crime, adding to the series of genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people, amidst disgraceful and shameful Arab, Islamic, and international silence.
The council criticized the blatant violation of humanitarian law by the Zionist enemy, and its inhumane actions in forcibly removing patients and displaced people from the hospital, stripping them of their clothes in front of the world, and subjecting them to abuse.
It called on the remaining conscience of the world and free people everywhere to take action on all levels and put more pressures on the international community to stop the Zionist crimes and save what remains of Gaza’s health system from systematic destruction.
The council urged the United Nations and the World Health Organization to urgently intervene to save the lives of patients, wounded individuals, and medical staff, and stop the violations they face after being removed from the hospital and taken to unknown locations.
