Students at Hodeidah University and the University Student Forum organized several protests in soldiery and support for the Palestinian, Lebanese and Syrian peoples, as well as in support of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” and in condemnation of the crimes of the Zionist entity in Gaza
The protests were attended by the university president, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahdal, his deputies, college deans, faculty members, employees and students.
Participants raised Yemeni, Palestinian, Lebanese and Syrian flags, along with slogans denouncing the genocide, which is being committed by the Zionist entity against innocent people in the Gaza Strip.
They also denounced the continued silence of the Arab and Islamic regimes towards the unprecedented killing, displacement and starvation of civilians in the Gaza Strip
A statement was issued during the protests, affirmed Yemen’s firm position towards the Palestinian cause, denouncing the silence of the United Nations and its shameful positions towards the brutal crimes and the systematic destruction of infrastructure and civilian objects in the Gaza Strip.
The statement urged full preparedness to face the ongoing US and Israeli threats against Yemen, emphasizing the need to confront them using all available means.
