Gunmen assassinated 3 physicists in the Syrian capital Damascus within 24 hours.
Syrian sources said that unknown gunmen assassinated physicist Shadia Habal and her husband in Damascus.
They added that Habal and her husband hold international doctorates in physics, noting that the assassination crime occurred hours after the assassination of nuclear microbiologist Zahra Al-Homsi with two bullets to the head.
The sources did not rule out Israel’s involvement in systematic assassination operations against Syrian scientists, in coordination with the Syrian armed factions, which is confirmed by the fact that the leadership of those factions ignored the Israeli raids on the Syrian army’s capabilities, including air bases, fighters, warships, strategic weapons stores, and scientific research centers.
