A tribal leader was killed on Friday by takfiri elements in Wadi Obaida, Marib Governorate.
Local sources reported that the militants assassinated Sheikh Muhammad bin Salem bin Jalal Al-Obaidi in Al-Husun area and fled the scene.
The source condemned the crime, alleging it was carried out in coordination with the security apparatus of the Islah Party, aiming to target national figures from the Al-Obaida tribe who oppose aligning with the aggression forces and mercenaries.
