Millions of Yemeni people took to the streets on Friday in al-Sabeen Square, the largest square in the Yemeni capital Sana’a, and other Yemeni provinces, in support for the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza, under the banner “Unwavering, Relentless, and Resolute Solidarity with Gaza.”
For the 60th consecutive week since the launch of the Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023, crowds gathered from various districts of the capital Sana’a and the Sana’a governorate to al-Sabeen Square, in response to the call of leader of revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
They reaffirmed their ongoing support for the Palestinian people, standing in solidarity without tire or fatigue, until victory is achieved.
The protesters carried Yemeni, Palestinian, and Lebanese flags, as well as freedom and resistance banners, photos of the martyred leaders, and placards condemning the US-Zionist crimes.
They expressed solidarity with Palestine and emphasized that Palestine remains the central issue for the Yemeni people. During the marches, both the American and Zionist flags were burned.
A statement was issued during the rallies, commanded the resilience and determination of the mujahideen in Palestine and praised their operations and strategic strikes against the enemy.
The rallies’ statement emphasized that the Zionist Jews are our first enemy, and their crimes in Gaza, their desecration of holy sites, and their burning of the Holy Quran are evidence of this.
“We will not allow America or Israel to decide whom we oppose or whom we support,” the statement read.
The rallies’ statement also commanded the recent operations of our Yemeni armed forces and the Iraqi Islamic Resistance that targeted the depth of the Zionist enemy entity.
It called on the Arab and Islamic nation to beware of America’s machinations aimed at disintegrating the nation and drowning Muslims in conflicts and secondary issues.
The statement further called on the Arab and Islamic nation to fulfill its religious, moral and humanitarian responsibilities and duties towards what is happening in Gaza.
It condemned the shameful positions of some Arab and Islamic regimes that have made themselves a bridge of transit and supply to the enemy while the people of Gaza are starving.
Regarding the recent threats by the newly elected US president, Trump, against the Palestinian resistance, the statement firmly declared:” We, along with all the mujahideen of our nation, do not fear America’s threats and hell, nor do we rejoice in its approval and paradise. We fear only Allah and desire only what is with Him, for what is with Allah is better and everlasting, and the ultimate outcome is for the righteous.”
