The World Food Program said on Friday that “hunger is widespread in the Gaza Strip” and that they have been able to secure only a third of the food they need to support the Palestinians in the Strip, as a result of the genocide committed by the Zionist enemy about 15 months ago.

In a post on the X platform, WFP stated that “hunger is widespread across Gaza, and our teams have been able to secure only a third of the food we need to support Palestinians in the Strip.”

WFP renewed its call for “safe and sustainable access to aid and the restoration of order” and stressed that “a ceasefire is more necessary than ever.”

Famine has worsened in most areas of the Gaza Strip as a result of the Zionist blockade in place, particularly in the North Governorate following the continued extermination and starvation to force Palestinian citizens to flee south.
