The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed that most of the healthcare services in the Gaza Strip have been destroyed in the ongoing war that has lasted for 14 months.
In a press release last night, the organization stated, “The WHO is trying to send medical missions, but the latest mission was delayed due to airstrikes.”
The statement added that the WHO is “requesting daily from the occupying authority to allow aid to enter Gaza, but they refuse.”
It also mentioned that they are attempting every day to deliver medical assistance to the region.
According to data from the Gaza Government Media Office, during the war that began on October 7, 2023, the enemy has rendered 34 hospitals and 80 health centers out of service and targeted 136 ambulances.
