Government of Change and Construction strongly condemned the decision of the so-called Israeli enemy government to expand its settlements in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
In a statement issued today, the Government of Change and Construction expressed its full solidarity with the Syrian people in confronting the Israeli aggression, which represents a flagrant violation of international law and a serious attack on Syria’s sovereignty.
It considered this decision an additional move within the framework of the large-scale Israeli aggression on Syria, and comes at the same time after the enemy forces penetrated southern Syria and the areas adjacent to the Syrian Golan Heights and launched the largest Israeli air aggression to destroy Syrian military capabilities.
Yemeni government stressed that it will always support the right of the Syrian people to resist the Israeli enemy and liberate their occupied Syrian lands, noting that the occupied Golan Heights, during the past decades and today, is an integral part of Syrian lands.
It said, “The duty of the groups that have taken control of Syria, by all considerations, is to bear the responsibility of confronting the Israeli aggression and occupation.”
Government of Change and Construction also stressed that the Israeli aggression does not only pose a threat to the unity of Syrian territory, but also to the entire Arab nation, and aims to establish a new equation of occupation to violate Arab peoples and countries.
The statement indicated that this decision and the subsequent audacity of the criminal Netanyahu to declare the occupied Golan Heights as Israeli territory permanently are two clear examples of the expansionist policies of the Israeli enemy supported by the United States and other Western powers.
The Government of Change and Construction called on the Syrian people and all Arab and Islamic countries and peoples to be aware and take a firm stance towards this Israeli aggression, because inaction or silence is a grave mistake committed in the face of the dangerous American-Israeli conspiracy called “changing the features of the Middle East.”
