The Yemeni Parliament condemned the treacherous Israeli aggression on the capabilities of the Syrian people, and the implementation of intensive aggressive raids on the capital, Damascus.

In its session today, the parliament considered these attacks as a insolent violation of the sovereignty of an Arab state, an outrageous assault on its land and vital facilities, and a disregard for international charters, treaties, and the United Nations Charter.

The Parliament called on Arab parliaments to condemn the Israeli enemy’s attacks on Syria and the Israeli army’s actions in occupying new areas and villages in Quneitra and Mount Hermon.

It reaffirmed Yemen’s leadership and people’s support for the Syrian people in facing the Zionist-American project that targets Syria’s unity and independence, exploiting the ongoing events to impose a new colonial expansionist reality in the region.

The Parliament also condemned the international silence, the policy of turning a blind eye, and the double standards regarding the growing assaults against the Syrian people and the peoples of the region.

It expressed its disapproval of the Arab and Islamic regimes’ disregard for this dangerous escalation, which poses a threat to the countries of the region, given the continued US and Western support for the criminal plans of the Zionist entity aimed at imposing Israeli and American dominance over the region.

The Parliament called on the wise and intellectuals from the Syrian people to avoid falling into the Zionist plots that seek to weaken and divide Syrian Arab territories, provoke conflicts to undermine Syrian unity, weaken its role, and exclude it from its present and future, as well as from its genuine Arab role in defending its issues, achievements, and the issues of the nation.

It reiterated Yemen’s firm position in support of the Palestinian cause and the causes of the nation.

The Yemeni Parliament urged Arab and Islamic countries to enhance solidarity in confronting Zionist dominance, Israel’s expansionist goals in the region, and to defeat all the unsuccessful agendas of the nation’s enemies.
