Yemeni Participation In The General Assembly Meeting Of The Arab Health Workers Union In Baghdad

Dr. Abdulaziz Yahya Najm Al-Din, Secretary-General of the Yemeni Medical Professionals Syndicate, headed to the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, to participate in the General Assembly meeting of the Arab Health Workers Union.

The three-day meeting, with the participation of representatives of Arab health unions, will discuss issues related to the role of unions in the Arab world, the challenges they face under the current circumstances, the importance of the Arab trade union bloc in facing common challenges, and the role of unions in promoting professional rights and improving the conditions of workers in the health sector.

The meeting will also address ways to confront the intellectual and colonial invasion that threatens the Arab identity and the true Islamic religion.

Dr. Abdulaziz Yahya Najm Al-Din stressed the importance of this participation to enhance cooperation between Arab unions and exchange experiences in the field of union and health work, noting that this participation is an important opportunity to unify efforts to confront the risks facing the Arab world, noting that this participation came based on an official invitation he received from the General Federation of Trade Unions.

He said that this meeting aims to enhance joint Arab action and activate the role of unions in achieving sustainable development and enhancing social stability in the region.
