Israeli occupation continued its aggression on Syria on Wednesday for the fourth consecutive day.
Hebrew media reported that the occupation carried out about 180 airstrikes in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of airstrikes since Sunday to 480.
The new raids came despite the announcement by the Israeli Defense Minister, Yisrael Katz, that his forces had succeeded in destroying the Syrian navy and air defense. The raids targeted camps, vehicles, and even tanks.
They also targeted all Syrian cities without exception. Israeli media estimated the destruction of about 80% of the Syrian army’s military capabilities.
The armed factions have so far refused to comment on the large-scale Israeli attack, which was accompanied by a ground incursion into the outskirts of the Syrian capital, Damascus, while the media circulated statements by the leader of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, the largest faction dominating the scene, confirming that what is happening is in coordination with the organization.
