Member of the national negotiating delegation said that the release of the crew of the Israeli ship Galaxy Leader is an occasion to complete peace efforts and the engagement of the parties concerned with the peace map, headed by Saudi Arabia, in signing the roadmap.
Al-Ajri added in a tweet on the X platform: “The release of the crew of the Galaxy ship came within the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman to achieve regional calm and support peace in Yemen, in coordination with the Palestinian resistance.”
He pointed out that this initiative “constitutes an occasion to complete peace efforts and the roadmap and serious engagement by the parties concerned, headed by Saudi Arabia.”
It is also an occasion for “the obstructing parties, headed by the United States, to stop creating obstacles to the rights of the Yemeni people and their aspiration to liberate their land from any foreign presence and restore their stability and political unity.”
The crew of the ship (Galaxy Leader), consisting of 25 people, left Sana’a yesterday after being released on board an Omani plane as part of the ceasefire arrangements in Gaza.
The Yemeni armed forces had detained the Israeli-owned ship on November 19, 2023, as part of the battle to support Gaza.
