Members of the “Al-Qassam Brigades,” the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” appeared on the Netzarim front on Monday, welcoming the residents of northern Gaza returning from displacement after 15 months of devastation.
According to the website (Palestine Online), and based on footage captured by activists, the Al-Qassam fighters waved to the returning Gaza residents and offered sweets to some, while several displaced people exchanged greetings with the fighters and took commemorative photos with them.
The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” stated that the return of Palestinian displaced people to northern Gaza is “a victory for our people and a declaration of failure and defeat for the occupation and its displacement plans.”
This morning, hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals began returning to northern Gaza Valley, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement.
