Amnesty International Secretary-General Agnes Callamard confirmed today, Thursday, that a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip will not be enough to repair the lives of Palestinians torn apart by the Zionist genocide.
Callamar said in a statement on the “X” platform: The news of reaching a ceasefire agreement would provide some comfort to the victims of the genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinians, but this step came “late”.
Callamar explained that “the nightmare will not end with the cessation of the bombing for Palestinians who have been subjected to more than 15 months of devastating and continuous bombing, and who have been repeatedly displaced from their homes and are struggling to survive in temporary tents without food or water.”
