Civil Defense Authority in Gaza confirmed on Monday that its crews are searching for the bodies of more than 10,000 martyrs whose bodies are still under the rubble.
The Civil Defense said in a statement: “The number of martyrs whose bodies evaporated and we have not found a trace of them due to the Israeli bombing has reached 2,842 martyrs.”
He added: Our crews have recovered more than 97,000 wounded from the bombing sites, indicating that “99 of its cadres were martyred and 319 others were injured as a result of the enemy’s targeting.”
The Civil Defense in Gaza continued: “27 of our cadres are detained by the occupation forces and we do not know their fate.”
He added: “We demand the entry of Arab and foreign civil defense crews with all their crews to help us in our efforts.”
This comes in light of the ceasefire in Gaza entering into effect yesterday morning, Sunday, at 8:30, after 471 days of genocide, massive destruction of homes and infrastructure, amid anticipation and overwhelming joy from the people of the Strip.
